Cross country dream

Marie was in San Francisco, Ellie was in Miami, and the dream of a cozy coffee shop began to take shape. Though miles apart, the vision was clear: a space where community, creativity, and care could come together.

Landed in the same city

After a two-year hiatus, life brought us to the same city—Marie moved to Long Beach, and Ellie landed in LA. With both of us finally in one place, we were ready to bring our dream to life and get things off the ground.

The trio

Cannon and Ellie, friends since college, joined forces with Marie to create Gold and Poppy. Combining Cannon’s passion for fitness and healthy alternatives with our shared love for community, we began hosting pop-up events to share our creations and curate unforgettable experiences.
